Private Trades London is run by Iulian, who is responsible for your information. You can contact him by phone or WhatsApp on 07482 302233.

• Website chat: the messages you type, and the details you choose to give for a quote – your name, phone number, the service you need, the area or postcode of the job and a description of it.
• Get a quote form: your name, the service and a description of the job. The form does not send anything to this website – it opens WhatsApp with your message ready, and you decide whether to send it. Messages sent on WhatsApp are also covered by WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.

Only to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and, if you go ahead, arrange and carry out the job. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract with you, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries. We don’t use your details for marketing and we never sell them.

Your enquiry goes only to Iulian. To run the chat we use a few service providers, who handle the information on our behalf and only for that purpose:

• Anthropic – provides the AI that writes the chat assistant’s replies, so your chat messages are sent to Anthropic to generate them.
• Telegram – when you confirm your details in the chat, a summary is sent to Iulian as a Telegram message.
• Our website host – runs the website and may keep short-lived technical logs.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK, under appropriate safeguards.

We keep your details only for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any job that follows, and to meet legal obligations such as keeping business records. After that they are deleted.

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, and you can object to how we use it. To make a request – including asking us to delete your details – call or WhatsApp 07482 302233. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
